trawling the floors of ebay
i'm procrastinating tonight (taxes). so i did a little browsing on ebay. here are a few of my picks for the evening:
pair of black glass lampsthese could be so elegant in the right setting. i'd love to see them in a bedroom with a lot of white.
vintage scalloped cane back chairsa little white paint, a great fabric (you'd probably only need a yard) and these would be super choice.
kwid imperial trellis pillow.
if you only need one. why not.
authentic milo baughman sofaholy crimeny, that's one orange velvet sofa. but, really, isn't it fabulous (this photo is reminding me that in some parts, it's still seriously winter) and i like it with the navy pillow above. 'chinese chippendale' set of 8 cute, with their caned seats, you'd want to have some cushions made. i bet you could get these for a great price. my only little fear about these, is that they were rental chairs. there something slightly hotel-y about them. but you know what? they work. dwarf rabbit as a new pet book seriously, weren't you just asking me the other day where you could find a comprehensive book on how to take care of your new dwarf rabbit? sometimes i'm a genie-ous. fiorentini + baker boots size 8.5 although i don't totally love this color, these could go for a relative steal (reg. $700 boots) this is my absolute favorite boot manufacturer. they're nothing short of pure art. and if you're willing to pony up the cash, i noticed a few of the really bad ass colors like black and brown also available (these are not always easily found in shoe stores) vintage gucci bag normally i don't like to buy vintage bags to use. because the insides generally look like this:some one's 1987 grawdew.... is just so foul. so i usually cut them up and make things like belt buckles or cuffs (bracelets). but if you aren't as easily grossed out by others' crust, this is a great vintage bag for the collection. ok, i have to go do my taxes.
